Match That Matters is an Australia-wide support matching platform designed to make finding the right local support services easier, faster and a whole lot less overwhelming.
Instead of endlessly scrolling through websites & facebook groups, making awkward phone calls and wondering “is this actually the right fit?”, we help match people with support services based on what actually matters to them. Because finding support shouldn’t feel like a chore.

Our Story
Karlya is the founder and brilliant mind behind Match That Matters.
But the idea did not start in a boardroom. It started on the ground, working as a support worker herself.
After years in the industry, Karlya saw first hand just how difficult it could be to find the right support worker for a participant. Not just someone who was available, but someone who genuinely clicked with them, understood their needs and was the right fit.
Then came the lightbulb moment.
“How can I make this better for everyone?”
And just like that, Match That Matters was born.
What started as an idea has grown into a mission to change the way people find and connect with support, making the process more personal, more intuitive and, dare we say, a little less painful.
Karlya is now working behind the scenes to bring Match That Matters to life, with one very important goal: to get it right.
So yes, we are asking for your trust and a little patience while we build something we genuinely believe can make a difference. We are taking the time to make sure it is useful, trusted and designed around the people who matter most.
